I am passionate about caring for the whole patient and their family. I enjoy taking care of all people from the time of their birth until their end-of-life experience. I believe that patient education leads to improved outcomes and love spending time educating. Partnering with the patient in their care also helps to improve lifelong health behaviors. I enjoy behavioral and mental health treatment and education. I also enjoy my procedural practice and take care of many dermatologic and women's health procedures. I am up to date on current preventative health guidelines and will guide my patient in best practices of health prevention and disease management. It is really important to me to stay current with up-to-date guidelines and practice so my patients can get the best information available. I also work hard as our chief medical officer to improve health throughout our care system. My practice has been centered in the Bitterroot for the past 12 years since my graduation from residency. I have a lovely family of 5 rooted here. We enjoy the amazing outdoor activities that this valley offers including hiking, mountain biking and skiing. I am passionate about local food and nutrition and really enjoy cooking and being a part of our local food culture. We really enjoy the vibrancy of this community and its members. I work hard to contribute to the community and volunteer with our local Child Advocacy Center to help with their medical program. As a former piano performance graduate, I continue to take lessons and play for fun with my kids.
