Bjorn Paul Anderson, DO

I grew up in Bozeman, MT and began to grow an interest in medicine at an early age as my father was an orthopedic surgeon. I took the roundabout way into medicine and spent about 10 years after college involved in missions work, going to seminary, and teaching at a bible college before my interest in medicine won out.I love what I do as a family medicine doctor because I have the privilege of working together with my patients and their families throughout all stages of their life in order to maximize their health and help them reach their health goals. My specific passions in medicine include lifestyle and preventative medicine. Outside of work, my interests include most anything outdoors such hunting, fly fishing, hiking, camping, trail running, skiing, etc, and spending time with my family. All in all, we love to spend as much time as we can outside enjoying the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. I love working with my patients to find ways to maximize their health through both lifestyle and medicine. It is truly a joy of mine to have a job where I get to help people. I ended up in the Bitterroot Valley because my family and I knew we wanted to get back to Montana after being in the Air Force. As we were looking at job opportunities we were specifically looking at smaller communities and found the beautiful Bitterroot Valley and Bitterroot Health and could not be more excited to serve the community here.
