Professional Statement
Meet Dr. Julie Adams
Growing up in southeastern Tennessee, Dr. Julie Adams developed an appreciation for the outdoors and an active lifestyle—interests that continue to influence her passion for helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they enjoy most.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Adams is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and improve their overall quality of life. She finds it especially rewarding to guide individuals through recovery from injuries and to help those living with chronic orthopedic conditions find solutions that allow them to stay active and independent.
Dr. Adams believes that patient education is one of the most important aspects of orthopedic care. Her philosophy centers on partnering with patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their condition and all available treatment options. She recognizes that many people are concerned that surgery may be their only choice, and she takes the time to discuss both surgical and non-surgical approaches whenever appropriate. By providing thorough information and individualized recommendations, she empowers patients to make informed decisions about the care that best fits their goals and lifestyle.
Known for her collaborative and patient-centered approach, Dr. Adams strives to build strong relationships with those she serves. She understands that every patient’s goals, lifestyle, and circumstances are unique, and she works closely with each individual to develop a treatment plan tailored to their needs.
Outside of the clinic and operating room, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Her favorite activities include downhill and cross-country skiing, biking, and hiking. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children and share their home with their dog.
Dr. Adams is honored to help patients overcome injuries, manage orthopedic conditions, and get back to the activities that matter most to them.
