Professional Statement
Kristin Walker Davis grew up in the small rural community of Deweyville, Utah, where she spent much of her childhood playing sports and exploring the outdoors. Her early interest in athletics and human movement eventually inspired her path into medicine.
She earned her degree in Exercise Science from Utah State University and was introduced to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) while working in a physical therapy clinic. Dr. Walker Davis was drawn to the specialty’s focus on restoring function, independence, and quality of life. During residency, she discovered a passion for interventional pain medicine and the opportunity it provides to combine hands-on procedural care with meaningful long-term patient relationships.
Dr. Walker Davis believes every patient’s experience with pain is unique and that treatment should focus not only on reducing pain, but also on improving function and overall well-being. She is passionate about partnering with patients to help them return to the activities they enjoy most and finds it especially rewarding to celebrate their progress along the way.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Walker Davis and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors, including mountain biking, hiking, volleyball, and traveling. One of her favorite accomplishments has been visiting all 50 states.
After training in larger urban medical centers, Dr. Walker Davis knew she wanted to return to her rural roots and practice in a close-knit community. She connected with Idaho Pain and Spine as they expanded into Western Montana and immediately felt at home in the Bitterroot Valley.
“The natural beauty, welcoming community, and outdoor lifestyle made Bitterroot Health feel like the perfect fit both personally and professionally,” she said. Dr. Walker Davis and her husband are excited to begin this next chapter in Montana and look forward to becoming part of the Bitterroot Valley community.
