Dr. Day has been practicing adult and pediatric neurosurgery since 1996 when he moved back to his hometown of Missoula after completing his extensive education and training. He attended the University of Michigan, Dartmouth Medical Center and University of Utah Medical Center where he completed the Neurosurgery Residency program as well as a multidisciplinary Fellowship in Intensive Care, Anesthesia, ENT and Emergency Medicine. He also received extensive training in pediatric Neurosurgery at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City and through his Fellowship training at Children's Hospital in St. Louis Missouri. Before coming to Bitterroot Health, Dr. Day had a neurosurgery practice at St. Patrick Hospital and Community Medical Center in Missoula with additional outreach clinics in Billings, Hamilton, Helena, Ronan and Superior. He has published several studies in medical journal, presented at medical conferences and participated in elective clinical training around the world.
