Tor V Anderson, DO

I grew up in Missoula (go Knights!) and, after completing college and medical training, returned to Montana as quickly as I could. These days, I love exploring the Bitterroot Valley with my family—whether we’re hiking, skiing, canoeing, or biking. Although I’m a lifelong Montanan, I’m a new hunter still learning the ropes (last season I even managed to scope myself, so there’s definitely room for improvement).

As a Family Medicine physician at Bitterroot Health, my goal is to help patients of all ages stay active, healthy, and able to enjoy the hobbies they love for as long as possible. I believe strongly in the power of movement and staying active to promote healing and lifelong wellness.

In my practice, I work closely with patients and families to create personalized care plans that support both immediate needs and long-term health. I also perform a variety of in-office procedures, including trigger point injections, biopsies, cryotherapy, and joint injections.

At the end of the day, the greatest reward for me is seeing patients return to the activities that bring them joy—whether that’s climbing mountains, chasing their kids, or simply living life with more movement and less pain.
